i'm goin to be rich soon! NOT!

argghh!! I feel so stupid. I really do. I haven't felt this stupid for...a few hours! HAHAHA but seriously, I wish someone would just shoot me now. HOW DUMB CAN I BE?? sniffles.

well if everytime i do something stupid and someone gives me a dollar, i'd be rich very soon. (man that so didn't make any sense)

3 hours and i'm still tossing and turning.

I can't seem to sleep. I've no idea why. I wasn't feeling well so i popped a clarinase and hopped onto bed at around 11. It's almost 2 and I'm still wide awake. i'm sweaty, and grumpy.

so much for wanting to wake up early in the morning to run. bah

Someone's worse than me!!!

yesterday, I managed to convince my parents to make a trip to geylang because i was craving for the rochor soya beancurd. my brother accompanied me to the shop itself and while lining up, i told him to order. i taught him to say (in chinese) "wu3 bao1 tou4 hua1" (meaning: 5 packs of soya beancurd). he was really hesitant because his chinese's as fantastic as mine. when it came to his turn, he stammered 4 words (in chinese) "wu3 bao1 tou4 miao2" (meaning: 5 packs of bean sprouts). when he said tat, the stall owner and i burst out laughing.

AHHHH...see someon'e worse than me in chinese! Anyway my brother can be quite adorable at times.

after my interview today, i called back home. my granny picked up the phone and my conversation went something like this (i'm translating it to english):

Renee: Por por (that's how i call her) Is aunty (i call my maid that) there?
Granny: HARRR??? What did u say?
R: (trying hard not to make a fool out of myself in the MRT station) AUNTY.
G: HARRRR??? What did u say???
R: (increases volume, whilst replying, i noticed some people starin at me) AUNTYY!!
G: (getting impatient and shouting). I REALLY CANNOT HEAR YOU!
R: AUNTY!! AUNTY!!!!! I'm RENEE.
G: HAR?? RENEE? Ohhhhhhhhhh why didn't you say so earlier? What do you want?
R: .....

mannn.... this reminds me of a typical phonecall when my other granny was alive. It would be almost impossible to pass a message or get her to pass the phone to someone else. =ppp Anyway my point is...SOMEONE IS MORE DEAF THAN ME! Wheeee!

okay..enough nonsense. going to take a nap. I've another interview at 5 in tampines. I'm really beat. I didn't get good sleep last night. I couldn't sleep after nodding off into dreamland for less than an hour. The subsequent hours basically comprised of me tossing and turning, blowing my leaking friggin nose and jumping out of my bed to grab my tissues. bah!

quite a happening week

let me try to recall what i did for the past week. I remember meeting alvin for a movie. brokeback mountain was quite a graphic movie. I did enjoy it to a certain extent but my dear brother however was traumatised. what's with guys watchin men making out?they get freaked out. i mean a certain percentage even get turned on watching two gals kiss or french. so wat's the diff?? sheesh. i don't get them. anyway we met zhenhong and chee keong to eat what i was craving for since i came back - frog leg porridge =))) we then scouted to this shop near lor19 (it's called rochor beancurd). YUMMM i tell you. it's smoother than the really famous place near the beef horfun place. well i then walked home from geylang. it was a good 1 hour walk. i'm proud of myself =)))

TRY IT!!..u won't regret it. in fact, think i'm going to go down to geylang later =)))

tuesday was the day of meetups, byes and well, more goodbyes. I met up with izzy. caught up with him over lunch. glad he's doin well, and he's having a baby soon!!! hehe i mean his wife, but i'm happy for him! =)))

it was then goodbye to humpa. i will really miss him. hope he comes back to spore again though =) i then sent willie off. he was also flying to melbourne.

i can't really remember much for wednesday and thursday. i think i went for interviews. tiring but i kinda like the feeling of being drilled and grilled. =ppp i hope i get a job soon. anyway on thursday i sent xixi off. she was ALSO going back to melbourne. sighh..all these ppl.!!! OH OH...and not to mention my dear best friend's birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GEOK PEI!!!!

I went wakeboarding on friday! This time, Keith agreed to go with me.

This was taken before he sold himself to wakeboarding. Doesn't this stance look like he's deep in thought? Almost like......(in manga) when the person's sweating buckets?


HAHAHAHA...like this picture! Anyway Check out Keith's first time. That particular video clip's quite unhappening. The instructor, Eddie was giving quite a far bit of instructions to keith.

But the second and third videos (click on next 2 images) display Keith's ability and agility! =))) HAhahahaha...He was VERY VERY VERY good for a first timer =) Try overlooking Keith falling in his face and try even harder not to hear Eddie (or evil me) laughin in the background (in the second video) . He's a really good instructor. I mean he could actually patiently teach me, a super blur gal. I've got to hand it to him =)





It's all about Keith this time round - Keith learning from scratch, listening attentively to Eddie's instructions

i want to wake board some moreeee!!!

last week, on the 11th feb (before xi's birthday party), a couple of us decided to go wakeboarding. the experience was quite exhilarating. even though jean thought it had no point/objective, i guess i still want to do it again. it really works every part of your body =)))

wearing the board. jingxi went first.

Jean and I fervently and obediently listened to Eddie's instructions while he taught Xi...(yeah right)

Like Jingxi, I had a dry (well not so dry) run before going on the waters. Hahaha i looked so impatient!

Anyway haven't really been updating because of another camp (from mon to wed). Well on thursday, I went out with my darling karen.

first, we chilled at starbucks. We read the papers, chit-chatted for a bit before heading to Thai Express for lunch

Hahaha.... then we headed off to town. We waited sooooooo long for the bloody bus. So much so that we started pouting ha! =))) And while waiting that stupid gal suddenly pinched me and exclaimed, shouted excitedly in hokkien " what colour is his turburn...what colour????" MANNNN!!!! I TELL YOU THAT HURT!!!...stupid geok pei.

Then was dinner with Mr Lai (after he knocked off)

Didn't do much on Friday. On Saturday, I went out to meet the Hums, Gerard but unfortunately I don't have the photos!!! =((( Well on Sunday (which was yesterda) I went out with the spices gals (minus danielle). I met the gals in siglap before we headed to cartel for lunch. Here, the silly gals were being...stupid. hahaha think they tried to pull off a taiwanese/japanese look =)

We then headed to town. Window shopped for a bit before finding ourselves at Far East. We rested for a while before shopping again. Sigh I couldn't resist. I bought myself some things. ARGH! I need a job! Anyway Xi and I in one of the basement shops =))

Hahaha....the ex-neighbours shot- We were at this quaint little coffee place in the Esplanade. The food there is gorgeous, and tasty I must add. It's a little overpriced. BUT for the ambience, well I would pay for it. =)

Did I already mention the food is good????? =)))

YEAPP...so there, we ended our day in style. I however went to swim after dinner before I met Alvin and ROngyang. Bahhh damn it. didn't bring my camera out though. oh well..

speaking of camps, i had another camp from monday to wednesday, and i'm officially a malay. well i look like a malay gal now because i'm so tanned! hahaha i'm still suffering from sun burns on my shoulders but i guess i'll live.

And i really enjoyed myself quite a bit this time round. this group has been the most cooperative among the groups that i've taken.

I hope I can do some more camps but for now, I've important business to attend to...1)meet karen later for coffee AND 2)send more resumes!

time to bathe...i've got a looong day ahead of me! =)

and seriously do i give a shit whether it's v.day? it's just a really hyped up day. a day when consumers get cheated off money and when service providers laugh their way to the bank, loaded.

like i told my previous exes, i have no qualms throwing away anything that i'm given on that day. oh well...

anyway i'm glad that i'm goin infor another camp tomorrow morning. if anything at all, i'll be celebrating valentine's day with a buncha screamy little IJ gals.

ouch!

hahaha this friend asked me out today by i politely declined. his reply was among other things he said "so free...bumping around" hahahhaa mann that's painful if it's true. how can i be bumping around? i'm just trying to visualise myself hitting myself against the four walls of my room, maybe even knocking myself against my pesky brother? =)

well yesterday i had this mini bbq gathering with a couple of them. i didn't bother taking photos because christie and byron were happily snapping away. eitherways, my mood was dampened (almost literally) because of the foul weather. *mumble grumble* of ALL days it had to rain yesterday. but yeah...it was fun i suppose, hanging out with those who stuck by me in the drizzle. the rest like bryan, an hong, christie, keith and charms went in after a while to play MJ.

nothing much else to say about yesterday except...hehehe we made viv drink. =))) hahaha keith, lai, viv and i were chilling at the pub outside my place. ken, the owner of the pub, made viv drink quite a bit. =))) well that's a go-away present from a couple of us. hehehehe...(man we're evil)

sigh..i sound pretty incoherent. i'm just tired. i'm probably going down to tampines or bugis to watch a show by myself. i miss spending time by myself. i need my space i need my time =)

ANYWAY..the past few days have been a blur. i only remember a few events...let's see...

me, preparing for my interview...hahaha this was on tues (oh oh! special mention...the pic behind me, done up by dom, the other ex...very nice, very pwettyyy)

after the interview, i met up with nicole before heading to ivan's place with lai. it was all the way in boon lay (*&#$*@(&$( hmmm and sigh..i gained weight... argh anyway happy birthday dude!!! hahaha another ass who's older than mee...

the next day, which was wed, i met up with jonnyyyy...hehehe the poor boy had to extract his tooth. for the whole day he was speaking funny. ahh my source of amusement..=))) we then met up with mr elias for a movie. it was north country i tink....=)) stupid asses thought i cried in the movie. i so did not!

right after that i had to meet the parents and uncle aloy for dinner. =))) now i noe why i've been gaining weight........i've been eating good food!!! hahahah

On a more serious note, i'm feeling a wee bit nervous. It's not because of the result of the interview, or well I would like to think it isn't due to that. I really have no idea why I'm feeling this way. Maybe my stomach's acting up, or maybe I had a really late supper. It could also be because of the exponentially increasing amount of junk in my room. Mum's gonna kill me!!!

Okay... before the end of this week, I shall...
1) do up something that I promised a looong time ago (think charms and lai would know what i'm talking about)
2) sort out my clothes in my wardrobe - there's no form of system now. I cringe EVERYTIME I open my messy cupboard
3) send more resumes.

Sounds like a good plan. For now, I shall go shit. I think that will make me feel better.

hahaha it could be because i had leftover shite for lunch or...i'm goin for my first job interview. i don't think any amount of preparation would be able to make me feel better at this point in time. anyway haven't been updating much. didn't take much photos, didn't do much. that's prob why i haven't been blogging i suppose.

i only remember bumming at home, sending resumes, drinking and playing mahjong (i happen to win like close to 100 bucks).

sigh..i really need a job. hope i clinch this job because i hate being so idle.

i notice i keep sighing alot

that's just an observation. sigh i'm too lazy to explain why and what not, i'll just show photos for this entry. sigh

karen and i did our annual CNY eve stint and this time round, instead of chilling at starbucks, we went drinking at ECP. 1 pint of cider, and 4 pints of beer later, i was gone. =ppp

hahahaha got to know a couple of englishmen who bought us drinks. one of whom's scruffy. =ppp (for more photos that night, click here)

for the second time i'm meeting persis. this was the first day of chinese new year. as usual on the first day of cny i had to stay at home. like last year, there was a dwindling number of families coming to visit. *shrug* no big loss. i wasn't in any state to see anyone anyway, becayse of a slight hangover.

hahaha try matching the mums to the kids. =) my other closer bunch of cousins. this was taken in the later part of the day...

after dinner, we went to the fisherman village in pasir ris to chill.

after my usual routine of visiting on the second day of chinese new year, a couple of us met up for a gathering at my place =))) i didn't take much photos though. anyway as usual there was so much left over!

anyway happy lunar new year to alllllllll!!! let's toss to a good year!

can't remember much for the 3rd day of cny. i only recall going out with jean. on thurs (fourth day of cny) i went to NTU to meet ren ren. don't ask me why i went to like the ends of the world to meet him. anyway it was one boring one. i'm so glad i wasn't doing electrical engineering. hahahahha

i then met up with kee. we had a pre-dinner snack at gelare. =)))

the only person, or well one of the only people i met up with that day was christie and *surprise surprise* BRYAN!!!!! =))) it was nice to see him back home.

yesterday, i met up with bryan (aka humpa), chen hoe (aka hum zai) and charms (aka hum dan) for lunch before making our way down to send kee kee off. i'll miss you dude! sigh...

after dinner at holland v, a couple of us made our way to wala wala. we even managed to lure janz to meet us =)

me and mr lai. bahhh... i look like a man =(((

hahahahah the rest of the stupid boys came sooo damn late. tsk... these babies are sooo amusing i'm always tickled when i see them. (they are not gay btw)

ivan, charms and me =))) mannnn by that time i think i was very high already.

me and my ren ren =))) hahahaha he looked super stoned lah. tsk...anyway puking twice in a week is too much for my system. think i'll stop drinking for a while =ppp
