what would u do without these gals, they are my sex in the city gang =) we finally met up yesterday. (from left) alvina, charms, oaks and i gotten round to meet after what, 1 year? it was a good time catching up with gossip, updating our lives to each other and horsing around with stupid jokes like.....alv's "i didn't know that's what you guys call it, horse-back riding andmountain climbing". i must say we enjoyed our chi-chi session. so tai-tai-ish...we have to do it again! hehehe i hope we can meet again soon though.

i then met up with karen after waiting eons in the orchard library for her. we landed ourselves in delifrance (beggars can't be choosers, it was so damn crowded in orchard. stupid geok pei, come and choose orchard...TMD) where we had a short chat session about some issues.

we then headed to balcony. terrence was talking about the other day so i just had to try it. it's quite funny actually. we were wondering where we should go when witty karen said "ayy!! i tink they're still having happy hour at the balcony!" we ran to the entrance of the balcony at the heeren at 8.55pm and realised we only had 5

minutes to grab a drink. so chop chop, we hurriedly paid for our drink and chilled there before karen had to meet her friend. i then accompanied lai to his friend's party at woodlands =ppp

overall it was a good day i suppose. i love my gals, i'm loving my freedom. =)))

today my family's havin this annual NYE 'party' so i invited a couple of my friends to have dinner over. maybe even have a DS session =) well we'll see how it goes.

my week so far...

other than the usual rollercoaster ride of emotions, guess everythign else was pretty much smooth sailing. i met people whom i arranged to meet and did wat i was supposed to do. =P

let' s seee... on tuesday, i met up with karen.... hahhaha we were supposed to like exercise but both of us were too sick to do anything. (for myself, it was the doc's orders not to run, swim or blade..arghh!!! i wanna do it soon...feeling so ULGH...exercising makes me happier)

(refer to pic1), we hung around tilllll...erm...i met up with trs, janz and lai. Couldn't remember much of what we did. All i could remember was that we made our way to trs' place for a post christmas dinner. =))) Turkey, ham...yummm..

That was tuesday. Yesterday (wed), went for lunch with mum, dad and lai at some prawn mee place next to kallang mrt. Lai and I made our way down to Ikea to look at what could be my potential furniture. I'm plannin to take over mama's room downstairs... =)

After hanging with lai, i met up with the spice

gals (minus one - jingxi) at suntec. we ended up at coffee club for tea and chatted for a bit before i had to meet jon teo for some drinks (refer to pic2 and 3). I was forced to drink beer with stupid ah pa. (*$#(&& oh well. didn't drink much though. I didn't have any mood too. I'm majorly cutting down on drinking. I dun wanna have a failing liver living with me for the next 10-20 years (i'm predicting tat i'll die by 40 hahaha)

hmmm today, i went to aunty lena's place for lunch (refer to pic4). The food was good, but the company was even better. honfei, lolo and jon (duh) were there. I found out alot about myself.

Then again these few days i seem to find out more about my childhood than i can ever imagine.

For one, apparantly i used to be a "guai" but bored kid (not boring, it's bored) hahahha when i was younger i was so bored i played with chicken eggs. as a result, i broke a couple of them =ppp

let's see, i even froze and watched, stunned at my cousin drowining right in front of me. mannn that was quite scary... i mean i don't really remember this. that would have been quite traumatic if my cousin had really died *gulp*

thank God for screamy grandmas and quick-thinkign mothers. man if my mum were in that particular situation, she probably would have panicked, and i probably wouldn't be here typing out this entry.

anyway nothing much else happened other than my trip t the dentist, cinema and plaza singapura where we (lai, kee and i) met up with byron, charms, oaky, her friend.

Man i'm tired...time to turn in...good night world and hope i get killed by a car tomorrow.

christmas isn't christmas...

man boxing day's over as well. damn it! i need to start lookin for a job proper. *gulp* anyway today i met lai and his friends to swim. we then met up with the monash peeps at marina square (MS). Ms has changed so much. i don't like the new MS...maybe i just don't welcome change as much as i used to. oh well...

karen came to join us at sakae for a bit before she headed home.

for a while before only a handful of us (charms, janelle, lai, terrence, aik ming and trs' friend, kenneth) found ourselves at bedok for supper.

aik ming made my day because he joined us. i mean despite the shit he piled on top of me (ie the teasings and the 'carrassing's), i really appreciated his company. =))) TEO AIK MINGGGGG i love u!!! ahahahhaha don't tink he reads my

blog but i'm so glad for a galfriend like him =))) he's one of the few who really know me inside out and i thank God for him.

hmm another new day tomorrow. I shall do something different tomorrow =))) we have no less days to live than to die.

hmmm i've been out for the past two days. i'm surprised to even update...let's see. it kinda seems a LOT has happened in a span of two days.

on the day i touched downin Changi Airport, on friday, I met up with kee, terrence (thanks for picking me up), christie, an hong, sze min, charms and lai. We went to Orchard for coffee. yeap.

Day before yesterday (Christmas eve's eve), I went for breakkie with Pris, Janelle, Christie and Lai at Siglap before I dropped by Uncle Aloy's place to chat with him =))) I really missed him. I shall drop by Somerset again. Can't remember much after that. After chilling at Jean's place I went for dinner with Lai, Kee and Janelle at Parkway. I then met up with Oaks right after the Christmas eve's service at St Hilda's. Oh oh..slept over at Jingxi's =)))

Yesterday, ermmmmmmm....rushed home to change before goin out to meet my relatives. It was a good time seeing lolo, honfei and Aunty Lena. I'm so glad i'm seeing them again this Thursday. Aunty Lena (aka koko) promised to cook for us =))) hmmm yeah so after that I met up with Geok Pei (aka Karen) before i met up with Sze Min, Charms, Lai, Jackie and Byron. We ended up stayin in SM's hotel room to have dinner. Man how lazy can we get? =)))

yeapp...i'll prob put up photos soon. Hmmm for now, i need to find a doctr that is opened. argh my stupid nose. bahhh... =))) andddd i'm excited! I'm meeting soo many people these few days. okok..let's seee...

Mon (today): Meeting Lai to exercise....Dinner with Byron, Janz, Charms, Jackie, Terrence, Kee at Marina Area.

Tuesday: Exercise with Karen (if i'm not too sick), Terrence's Party (i can't wait to see Godma)

Wednesday: Unpack (hopefully lunch with renren)....and dinner with the Spice Gals =)))

Thursday: Lunch with Aunty Lena etc... Dinner at Indian place (mental note to ask around)

Friday: Lunch with Charms, Dinner with Alvina =)))

stupid internet connection

mannn..i've been sooo busy that i haven't had the time to blog, AND my stupid internet connection is screwin up so bad BAHHH...

let's see, my parents have come and gone. they arrived in melbourne on saturday and i met them for dinner at ai yee's. i was allowed to bring a friend so i brought my future husband-to-be, kee kee =))) glad kee enjoyed the dinner. too bad i didn't take that many photos during our popiah and satay session. anywya after dinner, paul, lai and ter came to pick us up to go to mt d.

well before my parents actually arrived, a couple of us went to nachos and tried to watch the sunrise (bloody clouds).... day of failed attempts i must say... first we wanted to go watch a live jazz band, but it was closed, then we scouted the city for a decent place but to no avail. let's see, we then decided to go to mentone beach to watch the sun rise but the bloody clouds hindered our view...TMD

on sunday, ter and lai came down with me to st kilda to meet my family. (i'm too lazy to put up more photos but we had a good time lah..hehehe we even got scolded by the damn viking operator because we took photos during the ride..bleah)

shortly after...like what, 4 hours later.................................................we arranged for a couple of families (wani, lai, susu, mine) and our friends to have dinner together at river kwai =)))

yeah..tat was my weekend last week (of 9th and 10th of dec)

sigh..time to go....i need to meet rongyao and lai for lunch soon =)))

hahahaha yeah...for almost the whole week we have been having DSs in different houses on different days (from sunday to wednesday). kudos and thanks to the hosts for having us on separate occasions. cheers to those who got pissed almost every single night (i can only tink of one hahahhaa...only one guy..tsk tsk) and most importantly, i'll remember our motto "whatever happens in this room, stays in this room" anyway...we had a chill-out session at daryl's on thurs. pure fun, no drinking- we needed rest for our livers anyway =)

so here you go, like liquour trickling down our mouths, so are the days of the FODDs (fellowship of the drunk and disorderly)

last weekend, before we became the FODDs...

i meant to upload the photos for rock-climbing (on saturday) but silly me actually accidentally uploaded photos of the karaoke session twice. bah!

well speakin of which, we had a surprise thai dinner for daryl's birthday before surprising her yet again at this karaoke place. i think everyone had their own share of sharing of the mic, their 2 minutes of fame... =)

DS started...that's how DS originated..hur hur hur...

D-S (WARNING: FRAGMENTED POST AHEAD)

for those people who have been hanging out with me lately, we've been having D-Ss ............ (D-S being drinking sessions) hur hur hur. it started off on sunday and well we've kinda recruited a bit more people into the D-S clan. other than the first D-S, i could basically remember almost everything that happened during the past 3 days of drinking. (mental note to put up photos of D-S soon)

anyway last week was a eventful, jam-packed, activity-filled week. from what i can recall other than the numerous movie sessions at wani's, we had a few trips down memory lane when we played catching (police and thief...........i remember the desperate attempts and shouts of "all release"....fun funnnnnnnnnn!!! )

wednesday=exam results. i had mixed feelings about it. guess i faired alright. i took into account the fact that i've been playing VERY hard and studying hard as well =))) i'm satisfied....

i also went horse-back riding with shy boy, mr lai and slai....that was on thursday i tink. that was quite fun, entertaining i might add, watching the flies slowly infesting rongyao's back and cap. it kinda made us feel conscious of ourselves too =ppp

saturday - rock-climbing........surprise karaoke session for daryl.... sunday - camberwell market.... D-S1.... monday - D-S2.... tuesday - met up with tina... corpse's bride movie with keith and lai... D-S3...

mannnnnnnn...i know this entry is very fragmented. guess it reflects my state-of-mind/mood as well. =((( i had a chat with susu (she came back yesterday wheee) and daryl on separate occasions...sigh...revelation after revelation...oh well....i shall leave it as tat for now...

anyyywayyy.....some photos from the horse-back riding trip at mornington. it was a good day to ride. guess it was good, at least it wasn't raining or anything. the only thing that made me irritated was the flies. i even had dreams about them. ulgh..stupid flies...

sugar and me... =))) i like her....and yes it's official... i love horses and i hate flies...

breathtaking..after an hour or so of trotting and riding of the horses, we found ourselves at the beach. the sun, the sand, the sea, coupled with horses and great company, who could ask for more?

overall a good experience - the occasional giggles at rongyao, my own time to think about stuff, the great scenic view...

things i need to do...

man i'm goin to be a graduate in10 days time, and i'll be back home in 20 days time. that's fast! =((( oh well... anyway this whole week has been a blast, with mock graduation on monday, the movie marathon and BBQ with a couple of peeps on tuesday, another coffee session on wednesday, horseback riding on thurs and....another round of fun and games at keith's yesterday =)

my mind isn't functioning properly atm. mr lai, christie, wani, grace, ryan, roger, winson were over at wani's before we decided to go to keith's place to have another round of games. only 6 of us played a game that combines a myraid of childhood games. other than the unfortunate scraping of lai's tummy, it was quite enjoyable. after getting bored of the catcher game, we found ourselves huddled in a circle, playing truth or dare. =ppp it was quite a tame T&D session. it's all good i suppose. i'm fine with being crazy and all, i dun really give a piss anyway, it's all in the name of fun. =)

speaking of fun, i tink i'll have a blast tomo...oops today judgin from the lineup of events for today. i'll post up more photos soon. in the meantime i'm goin to list down a few things i need to do before i go back..or well, want to at least. let's seeeeeee...

1) go back to one of those restaurants to eat peking duck.
2) check out crumpler prices for joel
3) finish the last report
4) collect my laundry, dry cleaning
5) go for a farmstay
6) go to south yarra to get something done
7) send resumes..
8) finish up the adelaide blog

10) have another all-nighter with whoever who wants to do it
11) watch the sunset, and sunrise from anywhere in melbourne
