as pathetic as it may sound, i've no more photos to put up. ulgh..hahaha i shall put up more. tomorrow will be a good day to take great shots. hahah the beach is where the activity lies! bwahahha.... pretty babes, wannabe hunks, sun, sand, and the sea...ah who would ask for more? =) maybe more company? nonetheless i'm bringing sandwiches...hope i dun poison the group! =p

i'm not going to dream and eat pancakes in a while
anyway i had one of the worst dreams (that i can remember) jus now, ulgh (x2222222). sigh...someone (i can't recall who) called me, woke up from my nap and i didn't wanna go back to sleep after tat. it's too much for me, too graphic. if that really happens to me, would i run? would i sacrifice my life to see what happened to him?? or would i break down and jump down from that flat? *shudder***
oh ya in the morning i had only one class in berwick *grumbles* at least it's only 1nce a week. last semester i had to drag my arse to berwick twice a week. oh well...i can't complain now. and i'm sooo glad i got amanda! she's a really dynamic individual. she's another fav lecturer of mine. speaking of favourite lecturers, should i attend tomorrow's class? it's another subj headed by janne skinner!!! i really like her =) love her tact and wit. should i ?? or should i jus be less ambitious and not overload?? decisions...
hmm going to rest before i bathe and will prob call ken-boy after that....meanwhile, i shall attempt to do some readings...

CIVILAZATION!!!
yeah..i'm very proud of myself for waking up so early in the morning (meaning 9am) to wash up and rush down to the city to meet eemin (yes i'm too lazy to put any more initials...it takes more effort to do that...AND i dun wanna look back and not recall who i went out with..hehe)
had lunch with him at some mekong place. it was my second time there but the service was horrible, jus like most of the asian restaurants here. hahah i can so imagine jean or anne being damn pissed at the service. ulgh..hate bad service. just somehow makes your day less perfect.
anyway met his friends after my gelati. one of whom incidentally is my primary school classmate. we both couldn't recognise each other but we found each other familiar. hahha aarika (dunno how to spell her name) was from amethyst 4 and i was from there too. such a small world i tell you.
eemin's other friend esther happened to know nicky. she kinda knew alvina as well. she's from the same batch as alvina and sharon in poly. how cool is that?? =)
went to the city church. and then had to make my way back to the subs.... but it was fun. i'm looking forward to going back to the city more often

didn't meet tina today but i guess i'll meet her next week... i can't wait...
and i also can't wait for school to start...only thing...i'm quite hesitant for tomorrow's bus ride...*gulp* ARRGGGGHHH i want a car!!!!

hehehe
anyway ate my only proper meal today, which was indomee, for dinner. couldn't find anything good at home. was going to prepare to eat graham's canned soup, well drink it BUT when i started cooking it, it didn't look like cream of mushroom at all. looked more like....fermented puke. after deliberating for a while, i decided to throw it away. maybe i should have tried it eh. we should try something new everyday! hahahahha
hmmm went out to J's house today. we watched some REEEEAAALLLLYYYY slow show. er... too much for my pea brain for today. but after that we watched survivor. preeettty interesting. i wanna continue watching it....tuesdays will be stay home tuesdays from now! HAHHAHA
time to go...i'm very hungry but...lazy to do anything about it. will prob go down to the city tomorrow...so melbourne city...HERE I COME!!!

first two days in melbourne
anyway spent my second day (today) mainly at home, well the first part of my day that is. until at night, i went out with my aunt and family. she took us out to this place that sold pecking duck as well. i still prefer old kingdom, guess the ambience is just warmer there, and the boss takes the effort to come out to greet customers and interact with them =) of course i also crave for the company of the peeps who went with me the other times, mainly C and SM. sigh...
was supposed to go out with B, but B wanted to stay in the city so when i contacted R, he didn't wanna go all the way to the city *shrug* too bad i dun have a car. hahah
ended up watching more anime and surprisingly going out with two gals. hahah it was so impromptu, I LOVE IT! we ended up at the glen where we had, well i ordered hotchoco while D ordered tea i tink. M and myself shared a cake. so there we were talking, bitching and listening to one another.
when the place (pls remember SHINE in the glen. the service is horrible.) was about to close, we decided to drive to the city. we drove to st kilda's but no pub/place was suitable, so we drove further up to crown. talked for a bit before D drove me back.
it's 4.20am wow...it's late. it's only 1.20 in spore. wonder what the rest are doing....

the late dinner, belated birthdays and a singing talent
anyway we ended up at CB where we each had an ice cold blended drink. yummm..... he came over to my place for a while before he had to leave to meet the rest... hahaha my gosh..tink he's quite traumatised by me, by how obsessed i am with...PRINCE OF TENNIS!!! hahahh
had some stupiod CHU QI (seventh day of CNY, our apparant birthdays) dinner with my family before i drove out to meet the monash bunch. wanted to meet lam etc to send him off,but it was quite late and didn't tink i could make it.
bought a cake and a brownie before i headed off to meet them at fish N co....somehow i was quite glad i didn't have dinner there...too overpriceed... hmmm i'll let the photos do the explaning now...

eventful saturday, or should i say 11 guys, a gal and a very very horrible photographer
AFTERNOON
on saturday (12th), went out in the morning to meet karen for a drink at starbucks. then we met up with the AC bunch for a CNY-cum-farewell lunch (for jon teo and lam). it was the first gathering that i've attended after such a long while. interesting. hahha interesting to note that there were a couple of exs who saw each other. (one good eg...dom and myself, didn't really talk to him much anyway)
EVENING
towards the evening, i met the guys from my class. and when i say guys i mean guys. BAHHHH none of the gals turned up. hahah so i had my share of 11 guys..BWAHHAHA. kinda reminded me of when i was in sec school when i used to go out with the guys (alex, weijie, can't remember the rest). it turned out quite a good time, finding out wat the guys were doing. when eemin came in he jokingly asked whether any of the guys were attached. amazingly, no one at the table (except for me) is attached. anyway zhiyuan came along and announced that it was his birthday, so hoolun slipped out to buy a cake. after cutting the cake, we went out and as usual, the trigger-happy girl asked the guys to gather because she wanted another photo. i asked the stupid guard who was sitting nearby and he took a really LOUSY photo.
after that second gathering, i met up with sam, danny, tanya, kelvin and alvina for some drinks. hahahha nice to see that stupid gal and the rest of the mates. went home slightly high. tink i called rencong and when he called i didn't pick up the phone. he called a couple of times, worried. he's sooo sweeetttt!!! i love him! i also love some of the mates that i've met in these years.

visited one of the grand aunts, who was playing MJ so we left after a while to aunty lena's place. she cooked SOOO MUCH FOOOODDD yummm. hahah my maid learnt how to make sushi hehehe...she was soo excited!

sigh
soon, very soon, it'll be my turn. i'm leaving on the 23rd (karen's birthday). i am on waiting list for the 24th and 25th. i hope i can leave on the 25th because i just DREAD going back. sucks.
we were along ecp today. ken was driving and i was as usual stoning. i caught a glimpse of one of the symbols of singapore- that tower (can't remember wat it's called) but somehow a sense of apprehension and dread overtook me. for some reason i took out my camera and took a couple of shots of the route to the airport.
sigh... i used to love the airport because of its serenity but now i wouldn't even tink of going to the airport to even take a stroll. that place gives me a sense of hopelessness in some ways. totally hate that feeling, that i'm not in control. i know to some ppl it doesn't make sense but well only a handful would understand what i mean.
to all who have gone overseas, i miss you already. for those who are going over to wherever, i'll miss you. and for those who are going to melbourne, we'll prob see each other soon...

i wonder
my dad's sleeping, grandaunt5 too. granz is jus sitting by herself downstairs, fanning herself with the traditional bamboo fan. i'm not too sure what the rest are doing, but any idiot would know we're jus minding our own busineses.
we're actually waitinf for relatives. actually i don't even consider them relatives. there was speculation among my family members- whether these buncha ppl would appear even after mama passed away. mum and dad were quite sure they woiuldnt come after mama's death, i hoped otherwise. theyre supposed to be here at around 1+, it's almost 3, guess my parents are right.
sigh..how sad. it feels like ties have been cut after a mere death. mere? shoulnd't such incidences bring ppl together? oh well. hahah idealistic renzi is speaking again. it just makes me conclude (maybe even judge in some ways) that these ppl are jus too practical.
no biggie for me too. their ang pows are so miserable. i think a combination of that amount is less than what my company gave me.
well i wonder why things change sometimes. i've always had to adapt to changes. speaking of changes, ive to go back AGAIN. not really looking fwd to it. sigh...
time to use the internet for a whiule....

oh well...as lame as it may sound i had a reunion lunch with karen. hahah since she couldn't make it for the night (for our usual coffee session), we decided to push it to an earlier time. we had a nice meal, and usual conversation.
sighness. time to go...prob need to make chilli sauce for the reunion dinner now. i still can't belive i'm stuck in my house. the sun's mocking me ARGH

i'm at a disadvantage
i just thought...
a girl spends on..
1) pads/tampons - guys dun have to waste money on this.. let's see. a pack of pads cost like about $5. that means in a year, $60. if we start getting our periods in a normal age like 12(?), and experience menopause at about 50, that would mean we have to spend (wait i need my calculator)- $2280 bucks
2) bras - my gosh. that is one item that we need. if not nipples will start showing and our boobs will sag (trust me on tat). sigh... let's see. a girl would need AT LEAST 7 bras (tat's already stretching it) and each bra (if you want a good quality bra, like triumph) would cost about 20 bucks. especially when girls are still growing, the turnover rate for bras are HIGH.
at the start of puberty, you buy singlets. then you try out sports bras, when the shape and size settles down, you buy proper bras. do the math. from the age of 12 (actually younger), you have to purchase something so necessary. up till you reach maybe 60+ you stop, sooo....i can't even imagine. AND for those who throw their bras into the washing machines, it's even worse it spoils the bras. sigh...tell me tell me.....!!!
3)make-up - because the world is unfair and society emphasizes on looks (the exterior), at the age of 20 (that's when i started buying make-up, but there are much younger kids who spoil their skins at an even more tender age), females, wait girls are pressured to buy various types of make-up. mind you, try just buying the basics. it would already cost you at least 100.
4) accessories - just look around you when you go out. any girl would normally either wear earrings, chains/pendants, and clips/bands (for their hair). and NORMALLY a girl wouldn't have only one set of earrings, or bands. so do the math again. a pair of earrings would cost $5. bands/clips cost about $4.
5) clothes - other than the exception of joe, girls normally have more clothes than guys, to 'suit' the occasion. she would have jeans, skirts, shirts, t-shirts, blouses, spaghetti straps, singlets, sweaters, cardigans, tube tops, tanga tops, slutty tops, did i miss anything out??
6) SHOES - to 'suit' the occasion, girls have to buy diff types of footweaer. i wouldn't even say shoes actually. again, with the exception of szemin (who prob own more than charms, alvina, oakz and myself combined), a girl would own an average of 7 footwear. sigh. guys on the other hand, would tend to (note the phrase "tend to") own less than girls. just look at any shopping centres, the amount of ladies footwear shops overwhelm the shops selling guys' shoes.
dun really wanna continue. seeeeee....see how we gals can be at a disadvantage? =p bleah! sucks! i dun wanna even think about myself.... hmmm let's see
i wear specs, so at least 2 years i have to buy new specs, or change lens of the specs. also in the name of convenience, i buy contact lenses as well. that is one.
i often fall sick...soooo...
AND i eat alot...sighhh
IF ANY GAL IS LIKE ME, bespectacled, sickly, greedy and normal (have boobs, experience the pains of the mentrual system), sigh...quite a bit of what we g0 (in terms of pay or pocket money) to the items listed above....

this is a summary of wat happened this weekend... fri went out with karen etc after work. had mixed feelings of leaving but oh well... sati can't remember oh went out with parents. then met up with ken-boy since the response for the 4c outing sucked. sun ahh after church we had sushi. managed to squeeze something out from sze hao about POT since ken-boy refused to tell me hehe anyway we headed to queenzsway but it was SOOOO crowded!!!
dum dee dum... going for lunch with nic, xh and jon. hahha may meet with gao later AND i'm going to meet byron for dinner today. prob catch up.. =)

let's see...during the walk in chinatown, this man was selling sausages. tink he made a lot of money. but somehow he stuck up like a sore thumb. he did, however pose for me. i took a photo of him..hehehe
ahh..i msged the 4c ppl and this benson asked "who are u" so i replied "renee". guess wat was his next msg??? "me benson u remember?" ALOOOOO if i dun remember u why would i even have sms-ed you in the first place??? tsk tsk
the ultimate which cracked me up when i was in the bus on my way to ken-boy's place- the sms from my mum which read "got pussy willow billow $10, can buy" IT SOUNDS SOOOOOO WRONG MY GOSH!!!

the death of bruce
they thought of an ingenious plan when bruce was fast asleep
they placed innocent bruce, who was still asleep, on the pavement when they sensed a car coming out from their porch.
to their dismay, the car didn't run him over, in fact it didn't even touch nor leave a scratch on bruce. his serogate parents rushed over and to their dismay, bruce was stil intact, smiling in his sleep. his smile seemed to mock his parents' disappointing failure
so the flustered parents decided to take things in their own hands- to kill their kid with their bare hands. renee punched it
they took turns hammering the poor child. minutes after, the child was devoid of life.
so this was how bruce died. the poor bugger~
